Crispy Okra Fritters is a super easy and quick crispy deep fried snack using okra/Ladies finger with corn flour and some spices. It is perfect to be served as a snack for evening tea/coffee.

2 tbsp all purpose flour
1 cup Bread crumbs(gold fish crumbs)
2. Place slices of okra into a large mixing bowl. Add cumin,cayenne, Amchur, Dry Ginger, Garlic, Salt and corn meal. Mix it well.
3. Add 1-2 tbsp water and mix and coat the okra well
4. In another small bowl add 2 tbsp of flour and 4 tbsp water and combine well to make batter.
5. Heat oil for deep frying in a deep saucepan.
6. dip the coated okra piece into batter ,
8.Remove and place on absorbent paper to soak the excess oil.

INGREDIENTS:
250 gm Okra
1 cup corn meal
1 tbsp corn flour
1 tsp cumin powder
1 tsp cayenne pepper (or red chilli powder)
1 tsp Amchur/Dry Mango Powder
1 tsp Dry Ginger powder
1 tsp Garlic powder
Salt as per taste
Oil for deep frying
1 cup Bread crumbs(gold fish crumbs)
METHOD:
1. Wash okra thoroughly, dry them as much as possible (with a kitchen towel ) and cut into 1/4" slices.2. Place slices of okra into a large mixing bowl. Add cumin,cayenne, Amchur, Dry Ginger, Garlic, Salt and corn meal. Mix it well.
3. Add 1-2 tbsp water and mix and coat the okra well
4. In another small bowl add 2 tbsp of flour and 4 tbsp water and combine well to make batter.
5. Heat oil for deep frying in a deep saucepan.
6. dip the coated okra piece into batter ,
roll over bread crumbs and fry them.
7.Deep fry until crisp and golden brown on medium high heat; once the okra is cooked, you will notice that the oil bubbles will start to subside.8.Remove and place on absorbent paper to soak the excess oil.
